How To Decipher The Star Ratings
A quick line on the star rankings I use on my page:
5 stars: take a vacation to go here.
4 stars: if you’re already on vacation, you should go here.
3 stars: If you live here, this is definitely a place to check out sometime.
2 stars: Average. Could live with or without it.
1 star: Eat here if all the 2-5 star businesses are closed. And you’re starving and weak, and on the verge of passing out due to lack of food.
0 stars: If you are starving, and haven’t eaten in two weeks, you still should avoid this restaurant.
Note: I review restaurants against other restaurants of the same concept. I don’t think it would be fair to review Mark’s Texas Hots versus The Crystal Barn, so if you happen to see a ranking that is objectively ridiculous (i.e. First Class Establishment gets 3 stars, whereas Corner Burger Stand gets 4 stars), keep it in mind that I’m comparing First Class Establishments to other First Class Establishments, and not directly to Corner Burger Stands.
